Free-form inside the window. Templates outside it.
When a lead messages you, a 24-hour window opens and you can reply freely. Outside it, only approved templates send. The check runs at send time, so an out-of-window message simply does not go out.

Connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's Embedded Signup. Meta bills you directly for conversations. Sequenz adds no per-message margin.
Sequenz is the AI SDR for B2B sales teams in Europe. WhatsApp is one of its channels, run from your own business account.
Growth and upConsent and Meta's rules are checked at send time, not just when you write.
Hi Katharina, thanks for your time last week. Would Thursday at 11:00 work for a short follow-up on the ops report?
No reply in the last 24 hours, so only an approved template can send.
Example lead. Switch the window to see what is allowed.
Onboarding uses Meta's Embedded Signup, the current standard. You stay the owner of the number and the account, and Sequenz never resells messages.
When a lead messages you, a 24-hour window opens and you can reply freely. Outside it, only approved templates send. The check runs at send time, so an out-of-window message simply does not go out.
A template has to be approved by Meta at the moment of sending. If an approval lapses, Sequenz refuses to send that template rather than risk your account.
If approval lapses, this template is blocked at send until Meta approves it again.
No opt-in, no send. When someone says stop, suppression is written before the next send check, so they are not messaged again.
You connect your WhatsApp Business Account and number through Meta’s Embedded Signup. A workspace can connect several accounts. Messages rotate across your numbers, and a conversation stays on the number it started on.
An opt-in counts when you log it on the lead, when your web form sends it to Sequenz, or when the lead messages you first. Each one is stored with its time, its source and the consent text version. If the lead’s number changes, the old opt-in no longer counts.
Free-form text sends only within 24 hours of the lead’s last message. Outside that window only a Meta-approved template can send. A rejected or disabled template is refused, and a template Meta has paused waits until it is approved again.
Each sender has a daily limit, 100 messages by default, inside your plan’s monthly WhatsApp allowance and Meta’s own messaging limit. When a limit is spent, the message waits instead of failing.
Opt-out words such as STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE, in seven languages, are recorded the moment the message arrives, so the next send check refuses that lead.
WhatsApp is included on Growth, Scale and Enterprise. The free trial and Starter cannot connect a WhatsApp Business Account. Every plan with WhatsApp also includes email and LinkedIn, so a sequence can use all three channels and skip the ones a lead cannot be reached on.
Yes. Sequenz refuses to send a WhatsApp message to a lead without a stored opt-in, and it checks this at send time, not only when you build the sequence. An opt-in can come from your own record on the lead, your web form, or the lead messaging you first.
Only a template that Meta has approved. Free-form messages are allowed only within 24 hours of the lead’s last message to you. The window and the template’s approval are both checked when the message is about to send, so a message that no longer fits is held back.
The opt-out is recorded as soon as the message arrives, before the next send check, so that lead gets no further WhatsApp messages. Sequenz recognises opt-out words in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. The reply also lands in your private inbox.
Every channel shares one sequence, one inbox and one set of safety rules.
